Synergies for energy: once spread over up to 20 locations throughout the city, Germany’s third largest utility company has now bundled its expertise in one place. An exemplary office city was created in Stuttgart’s Fasanenhof. Positioned between a conservation area and an area of urban development, the office complex is a masterly union of urban and natural space. The pioneering energy concept was a well-considered development by architects and builder: eco-friendly geothermal energy, ingenious daylight technology and an innovative façade system ensure energy consumption far below the required office building standards.
