It's no coincidence that the round concrete columns enveloping the curved glass facade of the new Maison Davidoff in the heart of Basel bring to mind the shape of a cigar. Since 1930, the headquarters of Oettinger Davidoff AG has been located on Nauenstrasse 73. The in-demand, well-established family business is renowned for its fine handmade cigars. The new building, designed by the architectural firm Diener & Diener, boasts contemporary and communicative working areas distributed on seven floors, alongside exquisite showrooms and cozy cigar lounges. Interiors, crafted by Lassoudry architects, convey warmth typical of the Caribbeans and are juxtaposed to the comfort and elegance of Walter Knoll furniture.
